KRD Luftfahrttechnik GmbH is developing an innovative mounting and installation concept for polymer safety glazing in eVTOL aircraft.

eVTOL stands for “electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft” and refers to electrically powered aircraft capable of vertical takeoff and landing.

The development project is funded under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The funding program is aimed in particular at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as craft businesses and supports innovative development projects. Funding will be provided from May 1, 2026, through October 31, 2027.
